Student (1992-1997) and post-graduate student (1997-2000) at the Chair of Physical Chemistry, Department of Chemistry, M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University. Ph.D. thesis (June 15, 2001): “The structure and red-ox properties of ceria-(praseodymia)-zirconia solid solutions modified by Y2O3 or La2O3 oxides”.

From 2005 - researcher in the Laboratory of the Molecular Genetics of Microorganisms, Research Institute for Physical-Chemical Medicine of Ministry of Public Health of Russian Federation. Experience: molecular mechanisms of the formation of the bacterial drug resistance; bacterial diversity and molecular typing of microorganisms; MALDI ToF mass-spectrometry based methods in the molecular genetics; identification and phylogeny of viridans group streptococci, C.trachomatis, drug resistant M.tuberculosis, nosocomial Enterobacteriaceae strains.
