  • Investigation of genomic variability and microevolution trends in microbial populations of M. tuberculosis with intention to describe characteristic features of drug resistant strains – MDR and XDR
  • Discovery of virulence factors and potential mechanisms of pathogenicity formation of viridans group streptococci (including S. pneumoniae) based on their whole genomes comparison
  • Discovery of unknown molecular mechanisms of drug resistance formation in N. gonorrhoeae by throughout examination of spectinomycin and ceftriaxone resistant strains
